Volunteers

First and foremost, we offer you an unforgettable experience and the unique opportunity to contribute to an exceptional event. You will also receive an official World Championships T-shirt and a packed lunch on site. As a volunteer, you are also insured. 

If you work a full day, you can receive a volunteer allowance of up to € 42 per day. We will provide you with a volunteer contract for this purpose.

We ask every volunteer to provide certain information (contact details, national registration number, etc.), which you can send us using this form. We need this information from everyone present for social inspection or practical reasons (e.g. T-shirt size).

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer accommodation during the World Championships. If desired, you can find accommodation in the vicinity yourself.

  • June newsletter: We will provide you with the most important information about volunteering at the World Championships.
  • Assignment of tasks: We will draw up the task list during June. You will receive more information about this shortly.
• July:
  • July newsletter: We will provide you with the most important information about volunteering at the World Championships.
• Mid-August:
  • Volunteer information brochure: A few weeks before the World Championships, we will send you a general information brochure about everything related to the World Championships.
• Week before the World Championships
  • Opening of the crew office: In the week before the World Championships, you are welcome to pick up your clothing and volunteer contract, if you would like to arrange this in advance. The exact date will be communicated later.
• 28 to 31 August - the UCI Para-cycling World Championships
  • The time has finally come! Enjoy this unique event as a volunteer. Thank you very much for your help!

If you would like to come by in advance to pick up your gear and register, you can do so at the times listed below. During these times before the World Championships, you are welcome to pick up your T-shirt, accreditation and contract and register immediately. This way, you don't have to arrive extra early on your first day. You will immediately discover where the volunteer hub is located and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. This is not mandatory, of course, but it is useful for those who like to be well prepared before getting started.
