This was Day 2 of the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships

A sunny morning. More time trials. And 7 world champions. The podium this morning was distinctly French: three French riders in the top 3 of the MC4 category.
The podium ceremony ended in pouring rain.
The wet roads of Ronse turned slick and gray… The message? Ride carefully, and above all, don’t try to be a hero in the corners. Several crashes occurred as a result. But more importantly: 5 more world champions were crowned.
Halfway through, and now on to the road races. Ready?
